Dear Lisa Tonight I have been unable to sleep for some reason. I came across your blog through Facebook and have read all your entries thus far. I want you to know your words have inspired me greatly. I will be praying for you as you prayed for me many years when I needed a kidney. Thank you for this blog and I thank God for the strength He has given you. When we are weak -He makes us strong. You are doing the right thing-keeping your eyes on HIM. He will give you comfort and joy in all the trial. After everything passes you will ask yourself "How did I do that?" and realize it was Him caring you the whole way. I will share with you one of the verses that guided me during my hard times.
"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.:
Habakkuk 3:17-19
*At the end of this verse it mentions "hinds feet" This is referring to an animal that looks a lot like a dear -he lives high on rocky mountains. He runs and jumps among the slanted and rocky slopes and does not fall. God has given him great balance and strength. He is doing the same for you. God bless you! In His love and grace Carmen<
